Live Animals In The Same Kennel

The following conditions apply to live animals accepted in the same container:

  • Animals must be the same species.
  • Infant animals will only be accepted with their mother. Exceptions: birds, fish, rats, mice and domestic farm animals.
  • A female animal in heat will not be accepted in the same container as a male animal.

The number of dogs or cats in one container shall not exceed the following limits:

  • One dog or cat six months or more of age.
  • One puppy, eight weeks to six months of age and weighing more than 20 pounds.
  • Two puppies or two kittens, eight weeks to six months of age, but not weighing more than 20 pounds each and of comparable size.
  • Puppies or kittens less than eight weeks old, and littermates accompanied by their mother may be shipped in the same container when the destination is a laboratory or research facility.

Transportation

  • Pet Connect animals are not accepted to or from Mexico and Costa Rica.
  • Pet Connect shipments are transported airport to airport service only (courier pickup/delivery service is not available).
  • Shipments on a collect basis are allowed when the shipper guarantees all charges. Interline shipments of live animals must be prepaid by the shipper.
  • Live animals are not accepted for transport on Airbus aircraft.
  • In the event of flight diversions, delays or cancellations, our cargo support team monitors our pet travel around the clock and will notify you in the event of a schedule disruption.

Picking Up Your Pet

Pets are available for pickup within one hour after arrival. Kennel charges may apply to pets not picked up four hours after arrival.

Weather

During the summer season, certain weather restrictions apply in hot climate locations. On the day of travel, if weather is warmer than 85F in the departing or arrival city, your pet may not be accepted for travel. Please refer to the Restriction and Embargo page for details.

We allow pets to travel when the weather at both the departure and arrival cities is between 45 and 85 degrees (Fahrenheit) We can make exceptions for greater temperature variances if your pet has a certificate of acclimation from your vet specifying temperatures to which your animal is accustomed.

How we do it?

Your furry companion will fly in cabin with his/her own personal pet nanny because they deserves nothing but the best. A comfy and clean airline approved pet travel carrier will be provided for transport so that’s one less thing you have to worry about. We offer same day pick up and delivery airport to airport only and provide easy curbside pickup and delivery service so you don’t have to worry about high priced airport parking.Your pet nanny will pamper your little “QT” as if they were their very own by providing food/water, potty time and lots of love and care. Updates will be sent regularly via group text so you never have to worry about how your precious cargo is doing.

What to expect the day of delivery?

Flight Nanny (Pet Nanny) will pickup pet from Shipper at the closest major airport and place pet in a soft-sided carrier that we will provide. Pet will travel in-cabin with the Flight Nanny (Lap Nanny) on the airplane, and will not leave their side until the destination is reached and pet is united with the owner. All parties will be updated throughout the delivery via group text message along with picture updates to reassure everyone that our furry travel companion is doing well. Once your flight nanny for pets has landed at the delivery destination all parties will be notified. The pet will be hand-delivered to the new pet owner at the discussed meet up location. A delivery photo will be sent once the delivery has been made. This photo is confirmation that the delivery has been completed.
